Two Anna Lantz goals gave Rockhurst a 2-0 victory over Southwest Baptist on Senior Day Sunday afternoon at Bourke Field. The win pushed the Hawks' record to 8-1-1 in their last 10 matches.
Lantz's first goal was in the 39th minute, landing a free kick into the net from 30 yards out. Her second goal came in the 52nd minute on a penalty kick, giving her a team-high nine goals on the season.
The Hawks took 29 shots, including 16 in the first half and 13 in the second half. Rockhurst held Southwest Baptist to just two shots, with none on goal.
Lantz led Rockhurst with nine shots (five on goal). Elle Kimball added five shots.
Rockhurst (10-5-1, 8-3-1) finishes the regular season on the road next weekend. On Friday, the Hawks face Lincoln in Jefferson City, Missouri at 5 p.m. and play Missouri S&T in Rolla, Missouri at 12 p.m Sunday.
