Women host Truman State, Upper Iowa

The Hawks are 8-0 at home.

The Rockhurst women hope to bounce back at home after dropping a pair of road games last week. The Hawks face Truman State on Thursday at 5:15 p.m. at Mason-Halpin Field House and host Upper Iowa on Saturday at 12 p.m.

Rockhurst (9-6, 6-5 GLVC) has posted an 8-0 record at home this season, outscoring their opponents by 19.3 points per game.

Truman State (4-12, 1-9 GLVC) is led by graduate student forward Ellie Weltha, who ranks fifth in scoring (17.3 pg) and third in rebounding (9.0 pg) in the GLVC.

Upper Iowa (8-5, 5-5 GLVC) is coming off a 72-63 win over Southwest Baptist last Saturday. Graduate student guard Katie Tornstrom leads the Peacocks with a 17.5 scoring average.
