Conway leads Hawks to 78-66 win over UIndy

Macie Conway tallied 21 points, four steals and three assists to lead Rockhurst to a 78-66 victory over Indianapolis Thursday night at Mason-Halpin Field House.

Conway scored 15 points in the first half to help give the Hawks a 48-23 halftime lead. She made three of her four 3-point shots in the first 20 minutes.

Allison McFarren finished with 16 points with a pair of 3-pointers. Ali Kamies posted 10 points and three steals. Rebeca Garcia added eight points and six rebounds.

The Hawks shot 39.7 percent from the field (25-of-63) and 90.5 percent from the foul line (19-of-21). Rockhurst scored 19 points off 23 Indianapolis turnovers.

Indianapolis (7-7, 4-4 GLVC) made 23-of-49 field goals (46.9 percent). Jada Patton led the Greyhounds with 22 points.

Rockhurst (8-4, 5-3 GLVC) hosts Lewis on Saturday.
