Defense shuts down UIndy in 0-0 deadlock

Junior goalkeeper Taylor James posted her fourth shutout of the season as the Rockhurst women's soccer team tied Indianapolis, 0-0, Friday night on the UIndy campus.

The Hawks outshot the Greyhounds, 15-12. The Hawks had seven shots in the first half and eight shots in the second half. Seven of their shots were stopped by the UIndy keeper.

Anna Lantz and Elle Kimball each posted three shots and two shots on goal. Caitlyn Smith, Quinn Conroy and Seal collected two shots apiece. James finished with three saves.

Rockhurst (3-2-2, 1-1-1 GLVC) play at Lewis on Sunday.
