Rockhurst moves into AVCA Top 25 Poll

Freshman setter Molly Trachta ranks sixth in service aces in the GLVC.

The Rockhurst volleyball team is ranked 25th in the latest AVCA/Taraflex Division II Top 25 poll that was released on Monday (Sept. 18).

Rockhurst is one of three teams in the Great Lakes Valley Conference ranked in this week's AVCA poll. Missouri-St. Louis remains at No. 5, while Lewis moved up three spots to No. 20.

The Hawks (8-1) open a three-match road swing tonight (6 p.m.) at Central Missouri. The Jennies (5-4) are ranked right outside the AVCA Top 25 poll. Rockhurst plays at McKendree Friday night and at UMSL on Saturday.
