Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

RU women fall to Oklahoma Christian, 1-0

The Rockhurst women's soccer team suffered their first loss of the season, falling 1-0 to Oklahoma Christian Sunday at Bourke Field.

OCU scored the lone goal of the game on a 40-yard free kick by Brooklyn Fink in the 73rd minute.

Rockhurst outshot the Eagles, 19-7. The Hawks had nine shots in the first half and 10 shots in the second half.

Anna Lantz tallied a team-high five shots. Gabby Hennessey posted three shots. Elle Kimball and Lizzo Rosenthal each collected two shots on goal. Junior goalkeeper Taylor James made one save.

Rockhurst (2-1-1) open conference play at home against 13th-ranked McKendree on Friday.
