Rockhurst men down No. 36 Drury, 4-3

The Rockhurst men's tennis team downed 36th-ranked Drury, 4-3, Saturday at the Plaza Tennis Center. It was the Hawks' first win over the Drury men since 1996.

Felipe Castellanos, Josef Truhlar and Joe Harris captured their singles matches. Castellanos and Truhlar won in three sets in No. 4 and 5 singles, while Harris was a two-set winner in No. 6 singles.

Harris teamed with Semyon Tsyrenov to win No. 2 doubles by a 6-2 score. Agustin Cortes and Castellanos won No. 3 doubles, 6-1.

On Friday, the Hawks fell to 21st-ranked Southwest Baptist at the Plaza Tennis Center. Tsyrenov and Castellanos won their singles matches.

The Hawks (10-7, 2-1 GLVC) host Emporia State on Tuesday.
