Women place eighth at Midwest Intercollegiate

Emma Mullendore shot a 79 in the second round.

Emma Mullendore tied for 21st place to lead the Rockhurst women's golf team at the Midwest Intercollegiate Tuesday at the Mules National Golf Club in Warrensburg, Missouri.

The Hawks finished in eighth place with a 678 score after shooting a 333 in the second round. Central Missouri won the team title with a 621 score.

Mullendore shot a 79 in the second round after shooting an 85 in the first round to finish with a 36-hole score of 164. Grace Claney shot a 171 to finish in a tie for 39th place. Greta Hinds and Celia Stiltner both shot 173 to finish tied for 45th place. Caroline Setter tied for 58th with a 177 score.
