Mullendore leads Hawks at SMSU Spring Classic

Emma Mullendore tied for 10th place in Arizona.

Emma Mullendore tied for 10th place to lead the Rockhurst women's golf team at the Southwest Minnesota State University Spring Classic Tuesday at the Wigwam Golf Course in Litchfield, Arizona.

The Hawks finished in sixth place with a 669 score after shooting a 332 in the second round. Lehigh University won the team title with a 614 score.

Mullendore shot a 78 in the first round and an 81 in the second round to finish with a 36-hole score of 159. Caroline Setter shot a 166 to finish in 22nd place. Greta Hinds placed 29th at 172. Celia Stiltner (173), Jayden Berrey (173), Grace Claney (175) and Sarah Biscan (177) also finished in the top 35.
