Women return to Mason-Halpin this week

The Hawks are looking to get back into the win column.

The Rockhurst women hope returning home to Mason-Halpin Field House will be the perfect tonic. The Hawks have a 6-4 record at Mason-Halpin and have won two of the last three games at home.

Rockhurst hosts Indianapolis Thursday night at 5:30 for Jam the Gym and Alumni Night. The Hawks (9-13, 4-10 GLVC) are coming off three losses against some of the top teams in the GLVC.

RU's Keegan Sullivan and Molly Hummel continue to rank among the league leaders in scoring, rebounding, assists, field goal shooting and blocked shots.

Indianapolis has a 13-9 record after opening the season with four losses. The Hawks lost to UIndy 90-77 earlier in the season and will look to get some revenge on Thursday.

The Greyhounds (13-9, 9-5 GLVC) are led by senior forward Sadie Hill, who ranks 15th in scoring (13.8 pg) and fifth in rebounding (7.9 pg) in the GLVC.

Rockhurst faces McKendree at home on Saturday at 1 p.m. for the Hall of Fame game. The Hawks played the Bearcats in early December and fell short 72-62.

McKendree (10-11, 7-7 GLVC) have won three of its last four games. Junior forward Naomi McDaniel leads the Bearcats with a 13.3 scoring average.

Both games will be streaming on glvcsn.com, with live stats available on rockhursthawks.com.
