Women open spring season with 7-0 win

The Rockhurst women's tennis team opened the spring season with a 7-0 victory over McPherson College Saturday night at the Northland Racquet Club.
 
The Hawks swept all six singles matches in two sets. Sofia Valdespino won her No. 1 singles match, 6-3, 6-0. Martyna Jankowska clinched the team victory with a 6-3, 6-0 win No. 3 singles.

Valdespino and Marina Magai were 6-0 winners in No. 1 doubles. Jankowska and Dani Lentisco captured No. 2 doubles, 6-2, and the No. 3 doubles team of Andrea Dabbah and Kaleigh Isgett posted a 6-3 victory.

The Hawks (3-0) play at Missouri Baptist at 2 p.m.
