Sullivan leads Hawks to 76-56 victory

Keegan Sullivan posted 13 points and 13 rebounds to lead Rockhurst to a 76-56 victory over Missouri Valley Saturday at Mason-Halpin Field House.

The Hawks jumped out to a 27-12 lead after the first quarter, scoring 16 points off 13 MVC turnovers. Rockhurst outscored the Vikings 33-28 in the second half.

Macie Conway tallied 10 points and three steals. Ali Kamies posted nine points, six rebounds, four assists and three steals.

Akili Felici scored nine points. Sophie Leinfelder collected six points and four steals. Sullivan added three assists, three steals and two blocks.

The Hawks shot 29.3 percent from the field (24-of-82) and 73.1 percent from the foul line (19-of-26). Rockhurst scored 34 points off 37 Viking turnovers.

Missouri Valley (8-3) made 23-of-65 field goals (35.4 percent). Jozelynn Bostick led the Vikings with 13 points and 16 rebounds.

Rockhurst (4-3) hosts Park on Dec. 29.
