Women's Soccer receives six academic accolades

The Rockhurst women's soccer team placed six student-athletes on the 2023 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team.

The six student-athletes to earn the distinction are Taylor James, Elle Kimball, Anna Lantz, Halle Mallum, Jacqueline Nieters and Greta Seal.

James, a junior goalkeeper from DeSoto, Kansas, posted an 7-5-4 record, eight shutouts and a 0.79 goals against average in 17 games.

Kimball, a senior forward from Olathe, Kansas, scored eight points on three goals and two assists in 18 games.

Lantz, a sophomore forward from Parker, Colorado, scored 28 points on 11 goals and six assists in 18 games. She was named to the All-GLVC First Team and D2CCA All-Region First Team.

Mallum, a senior defender from Omaha, Nebraska, posted six assists in 18 games.

Nieters, a junior defender from Ballwin, Missouri, scored two goals in 18 games. She was named to the All-GLVC Second Team.

Seal, a graduate student defender from St. Louis, was an All-GLVC First Team honoree. She tallied two assists in 17 games.
