Rockhurst meets Miners in GLVC Tournament

Rockhurst will be making its 19th consecutive appearance in the Great Lakes Valley Conference Volleyball Championship Tournament this weekend at the Williamsville High School Fieldhouse in Williamsville, Illinois.

The Hawks (21-6, 9-4 GLVC) earned the No. 4 seed in the tournament. The Hawks will play No. 5 seed Missouri S&T (17-9, 8-5 GLVC) at 2:30 p.m. today. Rockhurst defeated the Miners, 3-2, in Rolla on Oct. 6.

Top-seeded Missouri-St. Louis (28-0, 13-0 GLVC) will face No. 8 Upper Iowa (11-16, 6-7 GLVC) in the opening quarterfinal match today at 11:30 a.m.

The first evening quarterfinal match tonight will pit second-seeded Lewis (23-6, 11-2 GLVC) against No. 7 seed Indianapolis (18-10, 7-6 GLVC) at 5:30 p.m. Third-seeded Quincy (24-4, 10-3 GLVC) will face sixth-seeded Maryville (16-11, 7-6 GLVC) at 8:30 p.m.

Each of the four quarterfinal winners from Friday will advance to the semifinals at 2:30 and 5:30 p.m. Saturday. The semifinal winners will face each other on Sunday at 12 p.m. in the title match.

For the second consecutive season, all GLVC Championship Tournament action will be streamed for $10 per match or $25 for the full tournament on GLVCSN.com, the GLVCSN iOS and Android mobile apps, and GLVCSN OTT apps on Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, and Android TV.
