Seal headlines three Hawks on All-GLVC Teams

Greta Seal earned her fourth All-GLVC honor

Senior defender Greta Seal headlines three Hawks on the Great Lakes Valley Conference Women's Soccer postseason awards list.

Seal received All-GLVC honors for the fourth time, while earning First Team accolades for the third time. She played 1,411 minutes, helping Rockhurst post nine shutouts. She also recorded two assists.

Sophomore forward Anna Lantz joined Seal on the All-GLVC First Team. Lantz leads the GLVC with 28 points on 11 goals and six assists. She was named the GLVC Offensive Player of the Week on Oct. 30.

Junior defender Jacqueline Nieters was named to the All-GLVC Second Team. Nieters led the Hawks in minutes played (1,610), while scoring two goals. She earned GLVC Defensive Player of the Week honors on Sept. 4.

The league also recognized 14 GLVC James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award honorees. Senior defender Halle Mallum was RU's nominee. The student-athletes chosen are individuals who have distinguished themselves through sportsmanship and ethical behavior. These individuals must also be in good academic standing and have demonstrated good citizenship outside of the sports-competition setting.
