Anna Lantz has been selected the NCAA Division II Women's National Player of the Week by the United Soccer Coaches. The sophomore forward from Parker, Colorado scored four goals in Rockhurst's 8-0 victory over William Jewell last Friday at Bourke Field.
Lantz is the third Rockhurst women's player to receive the College Player of the Week honor from the United Soccer Coaches. Jillian Leetch earned the award in 2021 and Taylor Skala collected the accolade in 2014.
On the season, Lantz ranks first in the Great Lakes Valley Conference in points (28) and is the GLVC co-leader in goals (11). She received her fourth career GLVC Offensive Player of the Week award on Monday.
Rockhurst, 8-5-4, is the No. 7 seed in the GLVC Tournament and will play second-seeded McKendree at noon Sunday in Lebanon, Illinois.
