Hawks host 18th-ranked Central Missouri

The Hawks bring a 7-1 record into Friday's match with No. 18 UCM.
The Rockhurst Hawks return home Friday night for a 6 p.m. match against the 18th-ranked Central Missouri Jennies.

Last weekend, the Hawks (7-1) won three matches at the Drury/Southwest Baptist Invitational in Bolivar, Missouri. Junior attackers Tera Reberry (3.10) and Kenzie Hines (2.83) lead the team in kills per set. Junior libero Maureen Reilly leads the Great Lakes Valley Conference with 5.27 digs per set.

Central Missouri (4-4) is coming off a five-set victory over No. 12 Northwest Missouri (25-19, 25-14, 10-25, 20-25, 15-10) Wednesday night in Warrensburg. Junior outside hitter Kersti Nix leads the Jennies with 3.30 kills per set.

The Jennies hold a 14-5 lead in the all-time series after posting a 3-0 win over the Hawks last season at the Colorado Premier Challenge in Denver. Rockhurst's last win over UCM was a 3-1 win in 2002 in Warrensburg.
