Hawks shut out Missouri S&T 1-0 at home

Freshman Kaden Cripe connected on a penalty kick in the 51st minute to give Rockhurst to a 1-0 victory over Missouri S&T Friday night at Bourke Field. Cripe's penalty kick found the lower back right of the net.

The victory kept Hawks unbeaten on the season with a 4-0-2 overall record and 3-0 record in the GLVC.

Rockhurst posted seven shots and four shots on goal. Jordan Andrews, Valerio Tatafiore and Winder Pessoa each had a shot turned back by the S&T goalkeeper.

RU keeper Andrea Dorella posted two saves. The transfer from MidAmerica Nazarene has only allowed two goals in six games.

The Hawks play at Drury (4-1-3, 2-0-2 GLVC) in a key GLVC matchup on Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
