The Rockhurst offense erupted for 18 hits in posting a 15-6 victory over Drury in the second game of a conference doubleheader Saturday in Springfield, Missouri. The Panthers won the first game, 13-3.
Game One: Drury 13, RU 3
The Panthers scored nine unanswered runs in the fifth and sixth innings to end the nine-inning game after seven innings.
- Ethan Kleinheider led the Hawks with two hits, including an RBI double in the fourth.
- Cameron Gardner drove in RU's first two runs with a sacrifice fly and double.
Game Two: RU 15, Drury 6
The Hawks scored seven runs in the third to take a 7-2 lead. Rockhurst added eight runs in its final three at-bats.
