Women sweep Jewell in GLVC opener

The Rockhurst women's tennis team posted a 7-0 victory over William Jewell in their conference opener Saturday at Bennett Park in Liberty, Missouri.

The Hawks swept the three doubles matches. Valentine Limauge and Martyna Jankowska were winners in No. 1 doubles by a 6-0 score. Dani Lentisco and Andjela Vukcevic won No. 2 doubles, 6-0. Andrea Dabbah and Dina Dudic captured No. 3 doubles by a 6-3 score.

Limauge won her No. 1 singles match, 4-6, 6-2, 6-1, over Jewell's Gwyn Gifford. Vukcevic, Jankowska, Lentisco, Dudic and Dabbah posted singles victories in straight sets.
