Rockhurst exploded for 16 runs in the fourth inning in posting a 26-4 victory over McKendree in the second game of a conference doubleheader Sunday in Lebanon, Illinois. The Bearcats won the first game, 5-4.

The Bearcats scored four runs in the second inning and added another run in the fourth. The Hawks countered with four runs in the sixth. 

• Calli Wibbenmeyer hit a three-run home run in the sixth.
• Anna Newcomer allowed five runs on six hits over 6.0 innings.

Game 2: RU 26, McKendree 4
The Hawks scored nine runs in the third and batted around twice in their 16-run fourth while posting 11 hits. The 16-run inning broke a GLVC record and tied for the 11th most runs in an inning in Division II history and was five short of the D2 record.

• Maya Gallagher led the Hawks with three hits and five RBIs. She hit a three-run home run in the third and a two-run double in the fourth.
• Wibbenmeyer, Gwen Bostick. Clare Reinhart and Josie Lindemann combined for 11 hits and 12 RBIs.
