Connor Ellefson posted four hits and five RBIs to lead Rockhurst to a 16-3 victory over Missouri-St. Louis in the second game of a conference doubleheader Saturday at St. Louis. The Tritons won the first game, 13-4.
Game One: UMSL 13, RU 4
The Tritons pulled away in the sixth inning by scoring eight runs. UMSL collected 15 hits and five extra-base hits.
Game Two: RU 16, UMSL 3
The Hawks scored six runs in the second and fourth innings, while finishing with 13 hits.
- Clayton Medlin (3-4) struck out nine while holding UMSL to three runs on seven hits over 7.0 innings.
- John Shecut Jr. went 3-for-3 with a two-run home run in the second.
