Southern Indiana scored two runs in the bottom of the ninth inning to rally for a 3-2 win over Rockhurst in the second game of a conference doubleheader Saturday in Evansville, Indiana. The Screaming Eagles won the first game, 5-4, with a walk-off single in the seventh.
Game One: Southern Indiana 5, RU 4
The Eagles tied the score at 4-4 with a three-run home run in the sixth and scoring the winning run aided by an error in the seventh.
Game 2: Southern Indiana 3, RU 2
Clark gave the Hawks a 2-1 lead with a home run in the ninth. The Eagles rallied in the ninth to score two runs on a two-out single.
- Gallagher led the Hawks with two hits, including a solo home run in the fourth.
- Freshman Bre Barchak allowed two runs on six hits over 8.2 innings.
