Women split matches in Overland Park

The Rockhurst women's tennis team posted a 4-3 victory over Newman on Saturday at the Overland Park Racquet Club in Overland Park, Kansas.

The Hawks won two of the three doubles matches. Martyna Jankowska and Valentine Limauge won No. 1 doubles, 7-6. Kaleigh Isgett and Dina Dudic captured No. 3 doubles, 6-4.

Andjela Vukcevic won her No. 1 singles match, 7-5, 6-1, over Newman's Dana Issabayeva. Limauge, Jankowska and Dani Lentisco also posted singles victories.

On Sunday, Rockhurst suffered a 5-2 loss to Metro State Denver in Overland Park. Jankowska and Dina Dudic won their singles matches for the Hawks.

The Hawks (3-1) return to action on March 12 against Palm Beach Atlantic in Orlando, Florida.
