Calli Wibbenmeyer hit two home runs and drove in six runs to power Rockhurst to a 7-5 victory over Central Missouri in the first game of a doubleheader Tuesday in Warrensburg, Missouri. The Jennies rallied to win the second game, 13-9.
Game One: RU 7, Central Missouri 5
Wibbenmeyer gave the Hawks a 4-3 lead with a grand slam to left field in the fifth inning. She added a two-run homer to left in the seventh.
- Wibbenmeyer and Maya Gallagher combined for five of the Hawks' nine hits.
- Anna Newcomer (4-7) held the Jennies to five runs on six hits over 7.0 innings.
Game 2: Central Missouri 13, RU 9
The Jennies scored eight runs with two outs in the sixth inning to rally from an 8-5 deficit. The Hawks scored four runs in the third and three runs in the fifth.
