Rockhurst rebounded from a Game One loss to Drury to capture the nightcap in a conference doubleheader on Monday at Kansas City's Urban Youth Academy.
Game One: Drury 7, RU 0
Junior left-hander Kristina Bettis tossed the first no-hitter in school history while striking out six and walking one.
- The Panthers scored five runs in the sixth and two runs in the seventh.
- RU's Anna Newcomer (1-5) struck out 10 in seven innings.
Game 2: RU 5, Drury 2
Calli Wibbenmeyer and Maya Gallagher combined for five hits and five RBIs to power the nine-hit RU offense. Wibbenmeyer hit an RBI single in the first and a two-run home run to left-center in the third. Gallagher drove home two runs with a second-inning double.
- Freshman Anna Stephen held the Panthers to two runs on five hits to get her second win of the season.
- Wibbenmeyer led the Hawks with three hits and three RBIs.
