Hawks rally for 72-68 win over Bulldogs

Senior guard Daly Sullivan scored 16 of her team-high 23 points in the second half to help Rockhurst rally for a 72-68 victory over Truman State Saturday on Senior Day at Mason-Halpin Field House.

The Hawks outscored Truman 27-15 in the third quarter as Sullivan scored 14 points on six-of-eight shooting. Sullivan opened the fourth quarter with layup to give the Hawks their first lead of the second half at 62-61. The Bulldogs never regained the lead the rest of the game.

Keegan Sullivan posted 13 points, 10 rebounds and four assists. Molly Hummel tallied 13 points, eight rebounds and two steals. Reagan Dodd and Rebeca Garcia combined for 11 rebounds.

Truman made 22-of-59 shots from the field (37.3 percent). Ellie Weltha led the Bulldogs with 26 points and 18 rebounds.
