Hawks rally past Lindenwood in GLVC Tournament

Rockhurst overcame a 12-point deficit in the fourth quarter to post a 68-64 overtime victory over Lindenwood in the first round of the GLVC Tournament Monday night at Mason-Halpin Field House.

The Hawks ended regulation on a 20-8 run to force an extra period. Daly Sullivan tied the game at 53-all on a 3-point shot from the left side with five seconds left in regulation.

Rockhurst also rallied from a 57-53 deficit in overtime. Sullivan broke a 62-all tie with another 3-point shot with 20 seconds left in overtime, She iced the win with a free throw with 0.6 seconds left.

Daly Sullivan led the Hawks with 24 points and five 3-point field goals. Keegan Sullivan posted 16 points and nine rebounds. Molly Hummel tallied 12 points and seven rebounds. Reagan Dodd and Haley Wiskur combined for 10 points and 11 rebounds.

Lindenwood made 17-of-47 shots from the field (36.2 percent). Julia Ruzevich led the Lions with 35 points, 20 rebounds, six blocked shots and three steals.
