Hawks breeze past William Jewell, 70-44

Eleven players broke into the scoring column to lead Rockhurst to a 70-44 victory over William Jewell Thursday night at Mason-Halpin Field House.

The Hawks went on a 23-3 run in the first half to race out to a 30-10 lead. Rockhurst opened the second half on a 17-5 run to take a 54-21 lead and grew the lead to 69-30 with six minutes left to play.

Daly Sullivan led the Hawks with 15 points and four 3-point field goals. The senior guard went over 900 career points and goes into her final regular-season game with 911 points.

Keegan Sullivan tallied 11 points, six rebounds and two blocked shots. Ella Wedergren and Meghan Urbanski both scored eight points. Reagan Dodd collected seven points and seven rebounds. Rebeca Garcia added seven points and four rebounds.

Jewell made 13-of-56 shots from the field (23.2 percent). Libby Arnold led the Cardinals with 21 points.
