Women play final road games in Illinois

Daly Sullivan ranks fourth in the GLVC in scoring.

The regular season is winding down for the Rockhurst women, who play their final two road games this weekend in Illinois.

The Hawks play at Quincy tonight at 5:30. Rockhurst (12-10, 8-8 GLVC) is tied for seventh in the GLVC Point Rating System, which determines the seedings for the GLVC Tournament. Quincy (6-18, 2-14) has lost its last seven games.

Daly Sullivan led the Hawks with 24 points in a 91-75 victory over Indianapolis last Saturday. The senior guard, who ranks fourth in the GLVC with a 16.7 scoring average, has scored 861 points in her career at Rockhurst.

Rockhurst plays at Illinois Springfield (15-7, 10-6 GLVC) at 1 p.m. Saturday. The Prairie Stars have won seven their last eight games and are ranked sixth in the GLVC Point Rating System. UIS junior guard Lauren Ladowski ranks second in scoring (17.8 pg) in the GLVC.
