Lantz named Division II National Player of the Week

Anna Lantz leads the team with six goals and 15 points.

Rockhurst freshman forward Anna Lantz has been honored as the United Soccer Coaches Division II Women's Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 10-16.

Lantz tallied four points on two goals in pair of GLVC road wins last week. Lantz gave the Hawks a 1-0 lead with a goal in the 20th minute versus Illinois Springfield last Friday. She then scored the game-winner against Lewis on Sunday.

The Parker, Colorado native leads the team with six goals and 15 points. Lantz ranks fourth in points and is tied for fourth in goals in the GLVC.

The Hawks (9-2-3, 8-1-1 GLVC) host Truman State (3-5-6, 1-5-4 GLVC) on Friday at 5 p.m.
