Women capture team title at McKendree tournament

The Hawks finished in first place with a team score of 974 at McKendree.

The Rockhurst women's golf team captured the team title at the McKendree Bearcat Dual Gender Tuesday at the Fair Oaks Golf Club in Caseyville, Illinois.

The Hawks finished with a 974 team score over 54 holes to win by nine shots over second-place McKendree.

Caroline Setter led the Hawks with a second-place finish. She shot 74 and 79 on Monday and an 83 in Tuesday's final round. Jadyn Berrey came in four shots behind Setter in third place with at 240 (83-78-79).

Emma Mullendore finished fifth with a 242 score. Grace Claney came in 18th at 257 and Sarah Biscan tied for 24th at 263. Greta Hines was the top individual for the Hawks in 17th place at 255.
