Freshman Anna Lantz connected on a goal in the second half to give Rockhurst a 1-0 victory over Lewis Sunday afternoon in Romeoville, Illinois. The goal was assisted by Greta Seal.

The victory kept Hawks non-losing streak alive at four in a row while improving to 9-2-3 overall and 8-1-1 in the conference. Rockhurst stands second in the GLVC, one point behind McKendree.

Rockhurst posted 14 shots and nine shots on goal. Gabby Hennessy led the Hawks with four shots. Lantz and Lizzo Rosenthal both posted two shots.

RU keeper Taylor James posted six saves. This was James third shutout and she has only allowed seven goals in eight games this season.

The Hawks return home to play Truman State (3-5-6, 1-5-4 GLVC) in another GLVC matchup on Friday at 5:00 p.m.
