Sullivan sisters combine for 50 points in win over Miners

Daly Sullivan scored seven of her game-high 26 points in the final minute to lead Rockhurst to a 77-73 victory over Missouri S&T Sunday at Mason-Halpin Field House.

Sullivan made a jump shot in the paint to give the Hawks a 70-69 lead with 55 seconds left. The senior guard scored on a 3-point play at the 42-second mark and hit a jump shot with 21 seconds left to put Rockhurst in front for good at 75-73.

Freshman center Rebeca Garcia iced the victory with a layup off a pass from Keegan Sullivan with seven seconds left.

Daly Sullivan connected on 11-of-16 field goals, while also posting five rebounds and four assists. Keegan Sullivan scored the Hawks' first 14 points and finished with 24 points on eight-of-13 shooting. Molly Hummel collected nine points and four rebounds.

The Miners (4-6, 1-3 GLVC) connected on 23-of-51 shots from the field (45.1 percent). Alex Kerr led S&T with 23 points.
