Drury rallies for 76-69 win over Hawks

Rockhurst led No. 1-ranked Drury for 32 minutes before falling short against the Lady Panthers, 76-69, Saturday at Mason-Halpin Field House.

Alana Findlay scored 26 of her career-high 32 points in the second half to rally the Lady Panthers from a 15-point deficit in the 17 minutes.

Rockhurst took a 48-33 lead early in the third quarter on two free throws by Reagan Dodd. Drury closed the third quarter on a 20-10 run and outscored the Hawks 23-11 in the fourth quarter.

Drury outscored the Hawks 8-2 in the final two minutes after Rockhurst pulled within one point, 68-67. Drury made eight-of-10 free throws in the final 43 seconds. Rockhurst missed five field goals and four free throws in the final 76 seconds.

Molly Hummel led the Hawks with 18 points and nine rebounds. Keegan Sullivan and Dodd both finished with 10 points and six rebounds. Daly Sullivan scored seven of her nine points in the second half. Ella Wedergren added a team-high three assists and three steals.

The Panthers connected on 24-of-57 shots from the field (42.1 percent) and 27-of-35 free throws (77.1 percent).
