Hawks head south to face SBU Bearcats

The Rockhurst women return to the action tonight for the first time in nine days. The Hawks (7-3, 3-1 GLVC) travel to Bolivar, Missouri to meet Southwest Baptist (8-6, 3-3 GLVC) in a 5:30 p.m. tipoff.

Rockhurst won its first matchup with the Bearcats, 81-69, on Dec. 2 in Kansas City. The Sullivan sisters, Daly and Keegan, combined for 37 points against SBU.

Daly Sullivan ranks third in the GLVC in scoring (18.2 pg) and leads the conference in 3-point field goals made (2.8 pg). Keegan Sullivan, Reagan Dodd and Molly Hummel rank in the top 15 in rebounding in the GLVC.

Baptist is coming off a 79-74 loss at Southern Indiana last Saturday. Senior guard Kyleigh Vaught leads the Bearcats in scoring (14.0 pg) and assists (3.1 pg).

The Hawks host No. 1-ranked Drury (16-1, 6-0 GLVC) at 1 p.m. Saturday. Rockhurst dropped its first meeting at Drury, 73-44, on Dec. 4. The Panthers are led by junior forward Alana Findley, who is averaging 14.2 points and 8.2 rebounds per game.
