Hawks hold off Ottawa in three sets

Justice Wingate and Sydney McDonald combined for 31 kills to lead Rockhurst to a 3-0 victory over Ottawa (25-22, 30-28, 25-17) Tuesday night at RU's Mason-Halpin Field House.

Wingate led the 21st-ranked Hawks with 16 kills and five blocks with a .583 hitting percentage. McDonald finished with 15 kills and three blocks with a .545 hitting percentage.

Maureen Reilly posted a team-high 22 digs. Morgan Conner collected nine kills. Averi Vomastic had eight kills and 10 digs. Gabbie Inman tallied 34 assists and five digs. Sophia Moes added 12 digs.
