Hawks open Ottawa tourney with school records

Emma Mullendore was part of two school records in the first round of the Ottawa Fall Invitational Monday at the Eagle Bend Golf Course in Lawrence, Kansas.

The Rockhurst women's golf team broke the school record for 18 holes with a 303 team score. Mullendore led the way with a 72, breaking the school record for 18 holes.

Mullendore is at the top of the leaderboard, just ahead of teammate Grace Claney who is in second place at 74. Jayden Berrey (78), Caroline Setter (78), Greta Hinds (79), Sarah Biscan (83) and Emma Hughes (83) also stand among the top 10 individually after day one.

The final 18 holes will be played on Tuesday.
