Arand named to Academic All-America® Third Team

Audrey Arand is the fourth Academic All-American in RU’s volleyball history.

Rockhurst volleyball standout Audrey Arand was named Tuesday to the 2020-21 CoSIDA Academic All-America® Division II Volleyball Third Team, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America.

A biology major, Arand is the fourth Academic All-American in RU's volleyball history. She graduated this spring with a 3.99 grade point average.

The senior right side hitter from Union, Missouri helped lead Rockhurst to a 109-30 record over the past four seasons. She led the Hawks in kills during the 2021 spring season and currently ranks 70th in career kills among active Division 2 players.

Arand played on two NCAA Midwest Regional championship teams and one GLVC Championship team. In her junior year, she was selected to 2019 NCAA Midwest Regional and Tarleton State Invitational All-Tournament teams.

The Division II Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure to assist CoSIDA with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2020-21 Division II Academic All-America® program.
