Arand leads Hawks to 3-2 victory at Drury

Audrey Arand posted six of her team-high 17 kills in the fifth set to carry Rockhurst to a 3-2 victory at Drury (22-25, 25-22, 25-21, 22-25, 15-9) Saturday in Springfield, Missouri.

Morgan Conner collected 13 kills and 14 points. Averi Vomastic tallied 13 kills and 13 points. Tera Reberry added 10 kills, three blocks and 11.5 points.

Maureen Reilly had a team-high 25 digs. Dani Prusha finished with 33 assists and nine digs. Gabbie Inman posted 23 assists and 10 digs.

The Hawks jumped out to an 11-3 lead before the Panthers went on a 9-1 run. Conner had a team-high six kills.

Arand scored the last four points on kills as the Hawks ended the match on an 11-3 run.
