The Rockhurst men's and women's tennis teams posted 7-0 Senior Day victories over Ottawa Sunday at the Plaza Tennis Center.

Simon Birgerson won in No. 1 singles to lead a sweep of the six men's singles matches. Nicolas Leon, Santiago Rodriguez, Alex Bernadas, Ermanno Galimberti and Ryan Moody also collected wins in singles play. The Hawks (7-7) swept the three men's doubles matches.

The men will advance to the GLVC Tournament in Romeoville, Illinois on Friday, April 30.

Sam Czarnecki led the women's team to a sweep in singles and doubles. She won her No. 1 singles match in two sets. Paula Romero, Andrea Dabbah, Dina Dudic, Mary Grace Harris and Kaylie Meyer also captured their singles matches. The Hawks end their women's tennis season with a 5-7 record.
