Hawks post 6-1 victory at Truman State

The Rockhurst women's tennis team posted a 6-1 road victory at Truman State Friday in Kirksville, Missouri.

The Hawks swept the three doubles matches. Sam Czarnecki and Dina Dudic were winners in No. 1 doubles by a 7-5 score. Paula Romero and Andrea Dabbah won No. 2 doubles, 6-3. Mary Grace Harris and Kaylie Meyer captured No. 3 doubles, 6-2.

Czarnecki won her No. 1 singles match, 6-2, 6-1, over Truman's Alex Rogers. Romero, Dabbah, Dudic and Meyer also posted singles victories in straight sets.

On Saturday, Rockhurst fell short at Quincy by a 4-3 margin. Romero, Dabbah and Dudic won their single matches for the Hawks. Czarnecki and Dudic won their No. 1 singles match.

The Hawks (4-6, 2-3 GLVC) return to action on Saturday, April 24 against Missouri-St. Louis at Harmon Park.
