Hawks fall to UMSL in GLVC Tournament

The 2020-21 Rockhurst volleyball season ended with a 3-0 loss to seventh-ranked Missouri-St. Louis in the GLVC Tournament quarterfinals Friday in East Peoria, Illinois.

Justice Wingate led the Hawks with 10 kills and 11 points. Maureen Reilly had a team-high 18 digs.
 
Audrey Arand tallied nine kills, four blocks and 11 points. Morgan Conner posted seven kills, six blocks and 10 blocks. Averi Vomastic recorded seven kills and 11 digs. Kenzie Hines added five kills, 11 digs and three blocks.

Dani Prusha tallied 20 assists and 10 digs. Gabbie Inman posted 18 assists and eight digs.

Set One: UMSL 30, Rockhurst 28
The Hawks jumped out to a 15-11 lead. Arand and Conner combined for 11 kills.

Set Two: UMSL 25, Rockhurst 17
UMSL ended the set on a 12-4 run. The Tritons posted a .378 hitting percentage.

Set Three: UMSL 25, Rockhurst 22
Rockhurst scored 10 points on UMSL hitting errors. Wingate had a team-high five kills.
