Rockhurst downs Ottawa by 5-2 score

The Rockhurst women's tennis team posted a 5-2 victory over Ottawa on Friday at the Plaza Tennis Center.

The Hawks collected a point in doubles, winning all three doubles matches.

Sam Czarnecki won her No. 1 singles match, 6-3, 5-7, 6-4, over Ottawa's Julia Wienese. Dina Dudic and Mary Grace Harris also posted singles victories in straight sets.

The Hawks (2-0) return to action March 12 against Missouri Western at the Plaza Tennis Center.
