Hawks post 3-0 win over Southwest Baptist

Three players combined for 32 kills to power Rockhurst to a 3-0 victory over Southwest Baptist on Senior Day Friday afternoon at RU's Mason-Halpin Field House.

Averi Vomastic led the Hawks with 12 kills and 16.5 points. Senior Morgan Conner collected 10 kills, five blocks and 12.5 points. Kenzie Hines tallied 10 kills, 10 digs and 11 points.

Maureen Reilly had a team-high 14 digs. Senior setter Dani Prusha posted 18 assists and five digs. Gabbie Inman added 17 assists and eight digs.
 
Set One: Rockhurst 25, Southwest Baptist 20
The Hawks jumped out to a 14-6 lead. Averi Vomastic led the Hawks with five kills.

Set Two: Rockhurst 25, Southwest Baptist 22
Morgan Conner ended the set with her seventh kill of the set. The Hawks posted 16 kills.

Set Three: Rockhurst 25, Southwest Baptist 14
Rockhurst ended the set on a 13-4 run. Vomastic led the way with five kills and three blocks.

Averi Vomastic. The junior hitter posted 12 kills, seven digs, four blocks and two service aces.
