Hawks settle for scoreless tie with UMSL

The Rockhurst women's soccer team settled for a 0-0 tie at Missouri-St. Louis Sunday afternoon in St. Louis.

The Hawks finished with 13 shots, while UMSL collected 10 shots. Both teams posted two shots in the two overtime periods.

McKenna Leetch led the 13th-ranked Hawks with three shots and two shots on goal. Jillian Leetch and Greta Seal added two shots apiece. Hannah Byrne and Haley Schroeder both had a shot on goal.

Freshman Alyssa Kerperien posted five saves. She stopped two shots in each half, and added a save in the second overtime period.

Rockhurst (3-1-2) returns home to play McKendree on Friday.
