Second-half goals carry Hawks past Drury

Rockhurst scored three goals in the second half in collecting a 3-0 victory over Drury on Sunday in Springfield, Missouri.

Mallory Mumby opened the scoring with her first career goal in the 63rd minute. Mumby left-footed a shot from 18 yards out into the lower left corner of the net with an assist from Cameron Murphy.

Elle Guttmann made it 2-0 with an amazing shot from 28 yards out into the back right. Sydney Baker assisted on the goal in the 70th minute.

Hannah Byrne added the final goal in the final minute of the game. Carter Holton got a through ball to Byrne, who beat the goalie from eight yards out inside the right post.

Greta Seal led the Hawks with three shots. Mumby and Holton both had two shots. Alyssa Kerperien shut out the Panthers while making four saves in goal.

The Hawks (1-0-1) host Missouri S&T on Friday.
