Andrews nails 25-yard shot to give Hawks a 1-0 win

Jordan Andrews scored in the 76th minute to give Rockhurst a 1-0 victory over Drury on Sunday in Springfield, Missouri.

Andrews nailed a rocket shot into the right back of the net from 25 yards out. Freshman midfielder Sully Russell fed a pass to Andrews, whose shot came from the middle of the field.

Rockhurst finished with eight shots and five shots on goal. Chase Klusman led the Hawks with two shots with one shot on goal. Victor Gonzalez, Alessandro Macchioni and Jacob Weaver also posted shots on goal for the Hawks.

Goalkeeper Fabio D'Errico shut out the Panthers while making three saves. He made one save in the first half and turned back two shots in the second half.

The Hawks (1-0-1) host Missouri S&T on Friday.
