Rockhurst ends regular season on the road

Monika Faerber ranks in the top 10 in the GLVC in rebounding and steals.
The Rockhurst women wrap the regular season on the road this week. The Hawks travel to Truman State on Thursday (5:15 p.m.) and meet William Jewell in Liberty on Saturday (1 p.m.).

The Hawks, 8-10, are currently in 11th place in the GLVC Point Rating System. Rockhurst is coming off a 71-55 win over Quincy on Saturday.

Senior guard Daly Sullivan leads the Hawks in scoring (14.6 pg) and 3-point field goals made (2.2 pg). Junior forward Monika Faerber ranks in the top 10 in the GLVC in rebounding (7.9 pg) and steals (2.4 pg).

Truman State, 12-3, has won eight of its last nine games. The Bulldogs posted an 83-74 victory over Lewis on Saturday. Sophomore guard Hannah Belanger ranks second in scoring (19.5 pg) and first in 3-point field goals made (3.1 pg) in the GLVC.

William Jewell, 11-10, has won six of its last eight games. The Cardinals suffered a 79-44 loss at Drury Tuesday night. Senior forward Kiara Bradley ranks third in scoring (18.9 pg) and fourth in rebounding (9.1 pg) in the GLVC.
