Hawks hope to return to win column on the road

Returning to the road may be just what the Rockhurst women need this week after dropping three games at home over the past week.

Rockhurst, 7-8, have a 5-2 road record including a win at No. 1-ranked Drury. The Hawks will play at Indianapolis on Thursday (5:30 p.m. EST) and at Lewis on Saturday (1 p.m.).

Daly Sullivan and Keegan Sullivan both rank in the top 15 in the GLVC in three-point field goals made, while combining to average over 26 points per game. Monika Faerber ranks fourth in steals and ninth in rebounding in the GLVC.

Indianapolis, 8-8, is coming off a 79-34 victory at William Jewell on Saturday. Senior guard Taylor Drury ranks 13th in scoring (16.0 pg) in the GLVC.

Lewis, 10-6, will meet the Hawks for the second time in a week. The Flyers won at Rockhurst, 75-55, on Monday. Freshman forward Kathryn Schmidt leads the Flyers in scoring (13.1 pg) and rebounding (7.2 pg).
